# Introducing Cipher21: Provably Fair Blackjack in your Terminal 🎰🌑
Hi everyone! I’ve been exploring the Go ecosystem lately, specifically focusing on TUI (Terminal User Interface) development and cryptographic integrity.
I’m excited to share Cipher21, a terminal-native Blackjack simulation designed for those who value transparency and a sleek command-line experience.
Why did I build this?
I wanted to bridge the gap between “black-box” casino simulations and mathematical transparency. Every deck in Cipher21 is sealed with a SHA-256 hash before the round starts, allowing users to verify that no rigging occurred.
Tech Stack
- Language: Go (Golang)
- TUI Framework: Charmbracelet (Bubble Tea & Lipgloss)
- Database: CGO-free SQLite (modernc.org/sqlite)
- Security: SHA-256 Verification Logic
Key Features
- 6 Tiers: From “The Alley” to “The Singularity.”
- Persistent Progress: Your XP and balance are saved locally.
- Real-time Dashboard: A dynamic sidebar for financial monitoring.
I’m still learning and refining my code, so I’d love to hear your thoughts on the architecture or the verification logic!

🛡️ Security & Transparency (False Positive Notice)
Cipher21 is fully open-source. You can audit every line of the code in this repository.
-
VirusTotal Status: Some heuristic scanners (like Bkav or DeepInstinct) may flag the
.exeas suspicious. This is a common False Positive for Go binaries that lack an expensive commercial digital signature. -
Integrity: The application does not require administrator privileges and only interacts with its local
.dbfile. -
Trust: If you prefer not to run the pre-compiled…
Precision is the only objective truth. Happy coding!
